“For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people.” 1 Corinthians 14:33 NLT
2018 has turned out to be a very different year for me.There have been several milestones with my children, and some unexpected events in my life personally.
I was working what I thought was my dream job, but I got let go in April. My testimony is this: God has supplied ALL of our needs… PLUS some. I am at complete peace with it all. I’m applying for jobs, had an interview, have a second interview coming up and I’ve worked a temp job. God has provided! What should be the absolute scariest time of my life, isn’t.
If you are going through something and need peace, please contact me. I’d love to pray for you and talk to you about this more.
My oldest son graduated from our church’s school of ministry. He worked super hard for 3 years, learning how to run a church, leadership skills, how to write and teach messages, about lights, sound, video editing, etc. I don’t think I could list everything he learned. He is a very talented photographer/ videographer and I’m so proud of the man he’s become.
Next, my middle son graduated from high school. That kid basically did 4 years of high school in 2. He worked really hard in order to walk with his class. He did all of that while working shows for his school’s drama department. He wants to go work on Broadway one day with musicals doing set design, lights, and sound. He loves that stuff.
Last, but certainly not least, my “baby” daughter turned 16. She’s getting her driver’s license today. My heart is emotional. While I am proud of the young woman she’s become, and she’s a really good driver, (because unlike her brothers, she actually listened to me and learned how to drive), she’s growing up and will be doing even more of her own thing now.
Such is life, right?
We all have ups and downs. Good and bad.
For me, personally, God is the one who sees me through it all! I don’t know how people live without Him in their lives.
God bless you today and always!
