“Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, because the LORD will do wonders among you tomorrow.” Joshua 3:5

Corrie ten Boom said, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

Yesterday was a really cool day. It was fully of blessings and surprises.

Sometimes as Christians, we tend to walk around gloomy and like it’s the end of the world. There are occasions that we allow our circumstances and situations dictate our feelings. I know I have.

Expect the Unexpected

I want to encourage you today to look for the unexpected. In the Sunday School book I got from work, I highlighted this in the lesson I did, “Because God is present and powerful we can trust in Him to guide us into the future that is unknown to us but known to Him.”

If we pray and let God work and move, we might see something miraculous happen. We need to be ready for it. We should be expecting to see Him do wonders among us!

God is still in the miracle business. That did not stop with Bible times. He still brings honor and glory to Himself through the works and wonders He does among His people.

The Scripture I posted above comes from Joshua and it’s just before he is leading the Israelites to the Promised Land. God told Joshua to get the people ready for His wonders. Once again, He parted waters for them to walk through to the other side. One step closer to His promise.

God knows what He has planned for us. He is all powerful, all knowing, loving, slow to angry, and a good Father who has our best interest at heart. We should expect Him to show up and show out sometimes.

Jesus came so He could work in and through us to reach others. We need to be ready for the miracles that God will perform for us.

Will you reach down deep into your heart and know the truth of this? God loves you. He wants to move, work, and do miracles for you. You do deserve it. You are good enough. Simply because you are His child.

God bless you today and always.
